Ok, had to post this tooo cute picture of Elyssa... she had just had her bath and her hair was just to cute not to take a picture of.... talk about a bad hair day!
We had a busy weekend with Aunt Heidi here. Friday evening the weather was really nasty and we were home waiting on daddy to come home. He was in Houston from Thursday to Friday and we were worried he would not make it home since the weather was so bad but he made it thank goodness. We went shopping on Saturday to Kohls, Big Lots and of course Walmart. I think we have Walmarts baby section memorized and have bought most of the stuff they have. It was funny on Thursday we went to Target after we picked up Aunt Heidi at the airport and we found a whole new array of stuff to but for the little peanut. She is sure one spoiled little girl, she is not going to want for anything that is for sure!! We just can't stop buying her stuff!! I guess that is normal for a first and only child right? Today we went to Church this morning and mom cooked an incredible meal for us for dinner, I sure do miss home cooked meals. I have a horrible and I mean horrible cold / sore throat so I took a nap this afternoon and then we went out to show everyone the boat and to take pictures in the Blue Bonnet fields around our house. I will be posting some of those pictures soon also.. she is just so cute!!
Tomorrow she has a dr's appointment we get to see how much weight she has gained. I sure do hope she is at least at 6lbs now... We will keep our finger crossed. Well time for her bedtime bottle... gotta go take care of the baby!!!
