A few weeks ago we went to visit Nana and Pop, Eddie’s dad and step mom, in Lufkin TX. The picture is of our little princess with them after church. Is she just not the cutest little girl in her Sunday dress? Eddie’s Dad is a minister at one of the churches in Lufkin and when I was pregnant and giving birth the whole church was praying for us. This was the first time we actually got to go and visit with them and meet everyone at the church. We had a really great time. We went down late Friday night after Daddy’s dr’s appointment and came home Sunday afternoon. While we were there we of course went to Kmart. We don’t have that wonderful store in the Dallas area so whenever we are in an area where there is one, we over took it. And I really mean over took it.. Daddy, my wonderful husband found the “summer pool section” and everything was 90% off. Well daddy went nuts!! He bought everything he could get his hands on in fact; Elyssa and I were worried where we were going to sit in the truck on the way home! He did manage to get it all in; I asked him what the heck he was going to do with all the toys, floats and such that he bought. If he put them all in the pool there would not be any room for us!! I cannot believe all that he bought… silly guy, but he did get a great deal on all of it, but geez, he should have exercised some control right? Well I guess we will enjoy it all next year …when does summer get here???
