Well another dr's appointment today and my blood pressure is up again 151/94.... The dr wanted to send me across the street to the hospital to the labor and delivery department to get monitored again and I really did not want to go. I knew I was getting another migraine and thought it was associated with the migraine and not preclampsia. He made me stay at his office for awhile and monitored it till it started going down and he also did another sonogram to check on little Elyssa who btw is doing beautifully! She is not having any problems associated with any of my issues in fact she is responding and growing just as she is suppose to, it is just mom who is having issues! I got to see her sucking on her thumb, opening her little mouth and closing it... she really is a cutie I have to say... I just think she is ready to come out sooner than she needs to! The dr made me promise to buy a blood pressure monitor for home if he let me go home and if it stayted above 140/90 all day I had to promise to call him and get to the hospital. Well I went to CVS and purchased my little machine "friend", and sat my happy butt on the couch. It has been a bit up and down today but more down than up and I am watching closely. I really dont want to end up in the hospital again!! Eddie wants me on bed rest, he is so worried about something happening to me or the baby and I completely understand but it is so hard to sit and do nothing all day!! I am having so much trouble sleeping , my dr prescribed Ambien ( a sleeping pill) for me today to help me relax and sleep.. we will see how it works. I'm almost done taking the steriods, I the migraines dont come back after I finish taking them. I guess time will tell.....
Well time to take my blood pressure and my sleeping pill, we will see how this works out...!
