Feb 13, 2007

Well I went to my weekly Dr's appointment today and we got the official delivery date of out little girl. Since it is a C-section the dr was willing to give us a delivery date for the bundle of joy! She will be here (providing she does not have other plans and decides to come earlier!!) on FRIDAY APRIL 13, 2007 ! Yup , you all read that correctly, she is being delivered on Friday the 13th! We are not superstitious so we both actually thought is was pretty funny! The dr said he did not care either and it did not bother him at all either..so we all agreed to April 13th! I'm pretty excited about it.. today is Feb 13th and in 2 months, about 8 weeks our little girl will be here with us. Of course like I said , this is as long as nothing goes wrong and our little girl does not have other things on her mind! My appointment today was ok, I've been experiencing alot of swelling in my hands and feet and numbess in my right hand. I cannot feel my index finger, middle finger and ring finger and my whole arm is going numb off and on. My blood pressure was up a bit also, so they did another sonogram to check on the baby. The dr is worried that it could be early stages of preclampsia but feels it is to early in the pregnancy for me to experiencing these things. He said for me to watch for headaches and blurred vision and to watch my blood pressure at home now also. I have to admit it does have me a bit worried but I'm trying to remain calm... in the words of the sonographer, the baby seems to be doing fine, but mom is having some issues..yeah, my luck!
Well for our Anniversary I must be the luckiest girl in the world... My husband took me to OUR DATE PLACES! Yes, I know you are all envious of me, I know, I know... how could I get so lucky to get to go to both Frye's and Home Depot on the same day??!! And on our Anniversary to boot!! In defense of Eddie we did go out to a wonderful Dinner at Mint Asian Fusion in Dallas and it was wonderful and he was very sweet, bu this was after our two trips to "our places". He had to get some wood for shelves he is building in a closet (yes for me so what can I say right?) and at Fryes he wanted to buy some wireless video cameras for the baby's room, (hey he is a techie what can I say???). He wants to have the baby set up on a web site so he can see her while he is working or whenever... what a proud daddy right? How could I say no to any of those things?
