Baby or Alien?? LOL.... ok, so like I said before she is getting bigger and the sono pics are just harder and harder to figure out! Eddie was there during this sono and told me the baby looked like an alien.. I said "Great, I'm giving birth to ET???" I can make out her eyes, nose and mouth kinda but.... we want to try to get a 4D sono done, those come out so much better. In fact, most of the 4D sono's I see look just like the baby when they are born. They are a bit expensive and of course insurance does not pay for it, but I figure this is a one in a lifetime thing for us. We want to do all of the fun pregnancy things!! Of course my luck will be we go for the 4D sono and all we get is cute pictures of the baby's butt!! You have to remember this is Eddies baby to. It is really funny, we will lay in bed and he will put his hand on my belly waiting for the baby to move or kick and as soon as she does he sits there and pokes back at her trying to get her to move again.. I can't believe it, he is already picking on her and she isn't even born yet!! Just think what I have to look foward to! I still can't beleive I'm in week 28 already... it seems like yesterday that all of this started...
At yesterday's appointment with my Dr, they did my first non stress test on the baby. I am going to have that done once a week every week till my 32nd week and then twice a week after that..it was kind of fun. I just laid there all strapped to a contraction and fetal monitor and got to listen to the baby's heartbeat for almost 20 minutes. I had a little button and every time the baby moved or kicked I hit the button. They are monitoring the increase in heartrate when the baby is moving. Pretty exciting and very peaceful just laying there listening to the little ones heartbeat.
BTW...this is TX right? I am still living in TX right? This weather is driving me absolutely crazy. Today it was snowing, yup, bug huge flakes coming down. There was also freezing rain and sleet. None of it lasted but it is cold as heck out there! I am freezing, I just cannot get warm. I really , really hate this weather, I'm ready for my 90 + days again. I just can't stand being cold. I talked to my parents this weekend and they got 6 inches of snow but they are in Pittsburgh Pa! They are suppose to get this cold miserable weather!
