Yup, that is a picture of "all of me" now..lol.... It is really starting to get pathetic and depressing... !! I was reflecting on my pregnancy the other day with Eddie and decided my favorite time of this pregnancy has been the second trimester. My first trimester was filled with fear and sickness, remember the "morning sickness" that lasted all day and I was miserable. My second trimester the only "issue" I think I had was my back started killing me, but I could still move easily and sleep at night. But now, in my third trimester I have swollen feet, swollen hands, loss of feeling in my hands, fingers and arms, I can't tie my shoes anymore and bending is now a challange ooohh and not to mention shaving my legs beyond my knees is just not going to happen again untill this baby is born!! LOL.... Soooo since I can't go back to my second trimester I've decided I'm ready for her to get here. I understand that coming this early would not be a good idea and I in no way wish for her to arrive early, just thought I'd let everyone know I'm ready for her to make an appearance. My husband said that I just like to complain right now, and that I will vent to anyone who will listen right now, but I keep reminding him he is NOT carrying around an extra 30+ lbs and does not feel like a human punching ball most of the day. Our little girl has been jumping and kicking and moving all around lately! I was sitting here just tonight with my t-shirt pulled taunt over my belly and watched her little hand/foot kick at my right side over and over again... it is an amazing feeling, but uuuuhhhhggg enough is enough!
On a side note we have a name for our little toe tapper....it is:
**ELYSSA MADISON**
It certainly was a tough decision but we ultimately wanted to use the "EMB" family tradition even though we were not having a boy. The family tradition is that the first boy born has to follow the "EMB" initials.... well why should our little one not have the distinction of not carrying on a family tradition because she is a girl? So, since this will be our one and only baby, she is going to get the priviledge as well! It is great having a name for her now...I just can't wait to have a face to that name now.
The baby celebration invitation went out today. They are sooo cute, we are having the party March 24th. It is not a traditional "baby shower", it is more of a couples shower/ party for friends and family to come and celebrate the coming arrival of little Elyssa! Everything is just coming along so fast... wont be long now...
