I cannot beleive it... it really ,really is raining and has been for almost 30 minutes straight right now. I actually went out on the back patio and watched it rain for a few minutes.. I almost forgot what it looked like. This is actually the second day in a row we got rain. Not sure if yesterday actually counted since it lasted about 7 minutes and was gone but it was really rain. This morning it looks very dark and dreary outside and it is raining, I can even hear the cars splashing the rain when they drive by... amazing I tell you, just amazing. Almost music to my ears....!! Anyone who has lived in the TX drought we are going through completely understands what I am talking about. It has been miserable and this is truely a miricle that we are getting some rain. We have been in Stage 3 drought conditions for so long, I was beginning to get worried. It has even cooled down the temperatures which is really, really nice. It has been over 100 degrees for what seems like forever and I was really getting sick of the "is it hot enough for you" comments! I just hope this lasts for a while...but we will see...
