It is finally standing and filling with water...... Yes, all of our hard work , all of the problems with the City Permit office, all of the issues with the installers, but tonight I got my restitution. I was wading in our pool in about 7 inches of water!!! Eddie and I were dancing around in the water like little kids in a mud puddle! We have had to deal with so much getting this pool put in that the reward is now going to start to out way the problem. Poor Eddie had to lay the pipe for the P-trap that the City required and move the electrical circut so that it would be close enough...the installers had to redig part of the hole becuz the City decided it was to close to the fence...(small town politics!!)...and now we have a real pool standing in our back yard. Of course our yard is a disaster zone that will take months to repair, but none the less we have the pool!!! I cannot beleive the amount of dirt we have left from a 2 and half foot hole in our back yard....amazing and the guys who do this kind of work all the time in the heat... I dont know how they do it. As I sit here this evening the water is still running to fill it....of course it is a 15x30 ft pool that holds probably around 11,000 gallons of water. I figured it will take a couple days to fill sooo now we wait, but like I said it did not stop us from jumping into our 7 inches and wading around like kids. After all of our hard work and patience we deserved it. I have posted an alblum under my photo's section of the installation process for everyones viewing pleasure it is labeled Swimming Pool July 2006. Now, the next step is getting the yard in some type of order and planning a POOL PARTY!!! Whooo Hooo....
Of course all of this has caused a small leave of absense from my studies but you know what it is worth it , although I have a huge test around July 17th sooo starting this weekend I really need to start re-focusing!!!
