Eddie bought a new truck, well not a new truck it is a used truck. We wont waste money on car payments so it is a 1997 Ford F250, 7.3 2500 HD XLT Powerstroke Diesel. Ok, girlfriends, for all of us who have no idea what that means, it means its a "big truck" !!! It is actually a step up from the 93 Suburban we had it was only a 2500 HD and not a diesel. Apparently diesel is a better thing? Heck, what do I know right?? It is a 5 speed so can everyone see Roxy driving not only a HUGE truck but also a 5 speed??!! Hey, I've learned anything is possible !!! Life is all about changes and taking chances and this is just one more big one for me!
Nana has a sharing problem. Yup, as much as I try, she thinks that all of the bones in the house are hers and Nicole is not allowed to have any! She watches for Nicole to drop or leave her bone somewhere and will go get it and put it in the pile she has in the corner where she lays. She will have 3-4 bones and Nicole will have none! I will have to go take one from her and give it to Nicole. She then comes up to me while I am sitting in the chair and looks at me like "mom, she has one of my bones" and pouts....! I try to explain to her that she is not the only dog and has not been for almost 3 years now!! She has to learn to share.
Today was a nice day for me. I actually took the afternoon off and went to meet Elana for lunch in Irving. We had a wonderful visit and will have to do it more often. It was nice for me to take the time off also. I've been knee deep in Statistics this week and let me tell you, I really dont want to know anything more about Mutiple Regression, Standard Diviation, and Central Time theorom that I care to know!
Ok, so I had one afternoon off, that means more work tomorrow, it's not over till the fat lady sings right? I 'm not singing yet everyone......
