Ok... so this week was my b-day! I think most of you know all about the occasion so I will not bore you with all the details again. But my in-laws came to visit us this week also. They live in Orifino, ID and came south for family graduations and such in Hobbs, NM and Lubbuck, TX. They stopped in Dallas for a week to visit with all of the kids (Tammy, Cheri and Eddie). His dad's birthday was on Wednesday , while they were staying with us. We had everyone over for dinner, cake and icecream. We really did have a nice time. I took a few days off from studying so that I could visit with them.
On Thursday we went to the Bedford area. I used to live there in a whole other life. In fact , for all sake and purpose , I choose not to remember that part of my life. It was a nightmare I was happy to wake up from! We all make mistakes in our lives and bad decisions and sometimes some cost more than others. I've learned not to dwell on the bad and the past and only to live for the future. Anyway we took my father in law to Star Publishing to pick up some copies of his books. He has published 2 books so far and working on number 3. Apparently he is donating a large amout to some missionaries. He is truely an amazing individual to talk to. He has been a Church of Christ minister and full time college professor FOREVER! Ok, he is retired from teaching but... once a minister always a minister...lol. While we were in the area we toured downtown Grapevine and of course went over to Grapevine Mills Mall to walk around. All in all I must say it was a great little visit. This morning they left to go stay with Cheri for a couple days and then they are off to Orifino again!
I think that sums up what has been going on in my life. Today I am playing catch up on all of my studies... boy could I get used to being a stay at home mom or what? We need to keep working on that baby-making now down we.... Eddie... where are you Eddie !!!!!
