It is FREEZING out side!!! What is with all of this cold weather? We actually had to turn on the heather last night. Thursday morning we woke up and it was 64 degrees in the house and that was just tooooo darn cold!! So last night we turned on the heat so we would not freeze over night. Yeah know, normalally I would not complain about getting some "cool" weather right now but it is like we went from Summer to Winter....what the heck happened to Fall temperatures?? It seems like just a couple weeks ago we had 110 degree days and were roasting to death....now in a matter of days is 40 degrees out side and we are all bundled in winter jackets. I know we almost never get snow here in TX but I'm thinking this year just may be different....we may actually see some snow. Hmmm, is this what they call results of global warming?? I just want some nice fall days, you know temps in the high 60's and 70's, where we can walk the dogs and sit outside and enjoy the day. But no, now with the time change it is dark at 6:30pm....darn it.. I want fall weather!!!
O'well, nothing I do or say can change things...tonight we went to Sam's to pick up some stuff we needed and then to Garden Ridge to get some new "blow ups" for in the front yard this Christmas. Every year we try to compete with National Lampoons Christmas Vacation! Last Christmas Eddie kept blowing circuts because of all of the stuff and lights outside. This year we are going to try to out do our selves. We will see how it turns out , we have already started planning the layout. I love decorating for Christmas!! We always have 2 or 3 Christmas Trees around the house and TONS of other types of decorations. I collect Snowmen and we both collect Disney collectibles. We have one Christmas Tree that is all Disney ornaments, very, very cute. I keep reminding him that next year we will have the baby to celebrate our first Christmas as a family! Seems just amazing to me when I think about it... Tomorrow's activities involve finally closing down the swimming pool, we have been procrastinating on doing it... not sure if we thought we would get some more warm days or what but it just never got done. I think Eddie is going to vaccuum the bottom real good and clean it up tomorrow and I am going to mow the lawn while he does that. The grass does not need really need cut , just the weeds need cut. I am hoping it is the last tme this year we have to take care of it...well since I'm the one who always seems to get stuck doing the mowing you can understand why I hope it is the last time! I asked the dr if it was ok for me to mow the grass and do stuff like that and he said it was no problem at all. Just take it easy and dont over stress myself..sooo I continue to mow the grass...
