Ok for everyone who still does not believe I actually went on a camping trip I have posted all of the pictures that prove I was actually there and did indeed camp! They are titled 2006 April Camping Trip. I have to say, it was so much fun I cannot wait to do it again. Of course it did have a couple draw backs, like it got REALLY, REALLY cold at night and I was shivering for a bit but that is what Eddie is for right? To keep me warm by cuddling closer. I learned that next time we need to take not just an air mattress and blankets but also a temperature rated sleeping bag is a good idea also. Also the bugs are pretty annoying, we had some issues with ticks but hey, we are invading "their" territory right? They did not invite us to come stay in their home right? I loved roasting hot dogs over the fire and making Smores with marshmellows, chocolate and graham crackers. The area was beautiful and scenic, I could not have asked for a nicer first trip. Of course I think the company we were with had a lot to do with it. Nothing better than camping with friends and Elena gets the "Best Camper Award" for the trip. She was incredible, she new how to put up all the tents, make a fire that was incredible (with alittle help from her blowing ..LOL ), and she cooked us an INCREDIBLE breakfast of pancakes, sausage and fried eggs. I can only hope that someday I am as good a camper as she is!
