Well as many of you know we used to launch our boat at Lake Lavon since it was sooooo close to our house. This picture was taken just a couple days ago at the boat launch we used to use. The dock is the same one that Carla, fell off of into the water trying to get some cute guys attention. Carla you know the incident, go ahead and hide your head in shame! But I love you a miss you soooo much!! Anyway , the point I am making is, that dock used to be FLOATING IN WATER! We talked to a guy at the Marina, (the same one we were going to wet slip the boat in this summer) and he said the lake is down at least 7 maybe 8 feet in some areas. We need rain guys..really need rain. Yes, there are other lakes we can take the boat to but it is just so convient since we live so close to this one. Plus towing a 26 ft boat is no fun! I think I'm ready to sell the boat and buy a camper! I think camping is more fun.... of course Eddie will hear nothing of it, he loves the boat ..of course we woman have powers to make men change their minds you know....
Well since last weekend was our camping trip, I am making up for it this weekend. I will be studying and cleaning the house. I know sounds like to much fun right? Eddie is going to go work on the boat. I think he is "un winterizing" it so if we by chance get some of the wet stuff called rain he can take it out. He is also working on transferring the Rose Bowl off of the DVR to the computer so he can make a CD for his dad. I know again, sounds like way to much fun! Actually my in laws are coming to visit us the week of the 14th of May. Geez, they will be here just in time for my Birthday...of course my B-day is the 15th, my sister in laws anniversary is the 16th, my father in laws B-day is the 17th and my friend Lisa's B-day is the 18th! Amazing isn' t it?
