Well the rod in the closet broke this week and for about 3 days I've had Eddie's clothes stacked all around the room. We are blessed with a HUGE CLOSET and beleive it or not Eddie's clothes actually take up the most room... tell me aren't woman suppose to have more clothes than men???
Anyway, he was off today and tomorrow of this week so I put him to work fixing the rod. I guess I should be pretty excited about it since it did lead to us going to our date place, you know, Home Depot, TWICE today...whoo hooo, we are living it up now! Tell me why is it that when a man walks into Home Depot they stare at things, have a list, finally make a decision about what it is we need for the project and then get home , start the project, and realize "oops" I need something else??!! So there were actually 3 trips to the date place today but I only chose to go on 2 of the trips, 3 in one day was just tooo much for me! A girl can only take so much right? He did finally get all the pieces and parts he needed to fix the closet rod and finally I had a place for all of Eddies clothes. I thought this was the perfect opportunity for him to "go through" all of his clothes and donate some of the old stuff. Sounds logical to me... unfortunatley my husband is a pack rat. He cannot throw away anything, I only managed to get 2 bags for Good Will from him..geez, men! I do admit our closet is looking much better. We are in the process of rearrangeing some more "stuff" so it is not quite done. We will hopefully finish up tomorrow...
We did do something fun tonght, Tonia called us and invited us to Pei Wei for dinner with her, JT and Kieth. I have not seen JT in almost forever, since he got his girlfriend he does not have time for "his adopted mom"!! I told him tonight I was feeling neglected like he did not love us anymore...he is such a good kid really! I guess he is just becoming more and more of a teenager. Not sure if I mentioned but Tonia and Kieth are engaged! She asked me to be her maid of honor and I thought they were going to get married in Feb. I told her I would be the size of a house in Feb!! The baby is not due till April sooooo Feb would be a prime month. Well they have both decided that Feb was a bit to soon with so much to do so now it is probably going to be in May. I figure I should be getting back to a normal size by then right???
