Yesterday we went to the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine to check out the Christmas decorations. They also have a huge ice show going on but we did not go through it, the place was packed, but what did we expect, it was the Saturday before Christmas right? We got lots of cute pictures but since 360 has stopped allowing me to share photos I can't share them! The hotel was nice but not as nice as the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN. I was lucky enough to get to stay at the Gaylord Opryland when I was traveling for my auditing job at USPI. We got a really good deal on a package the week we were doing an audit and it was wonderful. I had a room that had a water fall out side my patio, I left the door open when I was in the room so I could listen to the falls...it was incredible. I would get back to the hotel afte work and spend an hour or so an evening just walking about the resort taking pictures and relaxing. I do miss traveling sometimes. I was promoted to the auditing position about 6 mornths before Eddie and I got married. I would be gone for about 4 days a week sometimes every week or every other week doing audits at all of our facilities and we had facilities in almost every state! It was all part of the SOX 404...( thanks Enron!!). Once we were married I figured it was not the way I wanted to spend my "newlywed days" ! I wanted to be home with my husband...yeah, I know.. how sweet. Anyway, after that I transfered back to my office job till I quit last December to go back to school and finish my degree, which as all you know is exactly what I did!
Ok, so I got off on a bit of a tangent now didn't I??
