So last Sunday Eddie was in the pool doing some cleaning and enjoying himself, Elyssa and I went out and sat on the pool deck and dangled our feet in the water. She seemed to like the water and her toes dangling in it but I did not put her all the way in. I was still a bit afraid of putting her in the water for the first time. Well last night Aunt Tonia and Aunt Red stopped over and we all decided to go swimming, so little twinkle toes got in the water and she loved it!! She only lasted about 15 minutes but while she was in it she loved it. I am so glad she did not cry all the time, with us having the pool, she has to get used to it rather quickly. I’ve decided that at 6 months old (they make you wait that long) she and I are going to take “mommy and me’ swimming lessons. They don’t make “swimmer diapers” small enough for her so we put her in a regular diaper and a cute pink “onsie” to swim in… it was just tooo cute. Aunt Tonia brought JT and her little wiener dog Riley over with her as well and even Riley got in the pool with us…it was an evening of first for all of us. Aunt Red has a Greyhound named Sophia that she brought as well, but Sophia would not come near the pool. Our dogs won’t get in either. Nana won’t even come up the stairs of the deck, but Nicole will come up on the deck and walk around the pool….Eddie tried to put her in but she wanted NOTHING to do with it.

Of course when it was all over with and we had all finished swimming our little girl was "plum tuckered out!" She fell asleep in Mommy's arms....
