Yes, I said half a dozen and snow… Elyssa now has 6 teeth!!! Oh and yes, we here in TX had snow yesterday. We had 80 degree weather 2 days before and yesterday it was freezing and we had snow on the ground. Funny thing, Elyssa and I were in Denver and yes you expect snow there but here, in the Dallas area snow?? Funny as it may seem, we do get snow once in a while and you have to take advantage of those photo opportunities. It was snowing before we went to bed so when Elyssa woke up we got ready and of course ran out side to take pictures of her in her first snow in TX!
We went on another business trip with Daddy a few weeks ago. We went to Denver CO and got to enjoy some snow there. Daddy went skiing and afterwards we took some really cute pics of her in her snow suit. Yes, we bought a snow suit to wear only once and of course some snow boots to go with it. Pathetic you may think but she is totally worth it. We had a really nice time; it was over Valentines Day and our anniversary so we got to spend both holidays as a family. Elyssa of course got another stuffed floppy dog for Valentines Day while we were away.
Elyssa is going to be turning 1 soon!! Can you believe that March 20 our little princess will be one??!!! She is getting so big and just moving and shaking. She is crawling all over now and taking up to 5 steps all by her self!!! Won’t be long till she is running about this house. I guess it is time to start baby proofing things. She even had her first taste of dog food this morning. She was in her walker and found her way to Nana’s bowl while she was eating, reached in grabbed a chunk and had a taste. I of course caught her and took it away from her but none the less, nothing is safe now. Poor Nana did not know what to do; she just looked at me like what the heck “now I have to start sharing my chunks with this baby?” The dogs are so patient with her it is amazing.
WE are having her first birthday on March 15 !! I have totally overspent on decorations but again, she only turns one once and she is cute and worth it! Her Grandma and Pappy from PA are coming to her party and her Aunt Heidi from AZ will be here as well. We are sooo excited and can’t wait till everyone gets here!!
Well gotta run, twinkle toes is getting into something she should not be!!
