Well I finally did it, I took a weekend off and decided to have a bit of fun for a change. I have to do it one in awhile or you guys will be visiting me in a white padded room! Ok, stop laughing geez...it was not that funny. I just needed a break and decided to take it. Friday we actually went out to dinner together, it was nice but we were so tired after eating we went home and went to bed...I know getting old. Saturday morning, I met Lisa and Anne for breakfast. Now that was yummy, and afterwards Anne and I went shopping. Lisa had a hair appointment so she bailed on us...!! I had a great time. Saturday night we spent with Tammy. She and David were watching Cheri's kids so we went to help. We had Pizza for dinner and then to Main Event to bowl. Ok we tried to bowl there was a 2 and ahalf hour wait! Yeah , so by 10pm when we still had not got a lane , Tammy and I took the girls back to the house to watch Veggie Tales, they were none the wiser. Gotta love kids. On Sunday we went to Fort Worth to see Mike, Elena and all the kids. We went to dinner at the Stockyards and got to see the cattle drive. No matter how many times I see those cows, I love them!! We then went to Cabeloes', it is a lot like Bass Pro Shop , just take it up a few notches. Lots of neat stuff and Eddie was looking for stuff for the boat... again, boys and their toys..!!
All in all I have to give this weekend a thumbs up and hey everyone, we did not make it to Fry's this weekend and guess what? We lived...!!!
